Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. This role involves coordinating warehouse distribution, transportation management, and order fulfillment to ensure seamless product flow from procurement to delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, experience with ERP systems, and a solid understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), CMMS, AS400, and 3PL logistics. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvements within a dynamic supply chain environment, supporting e-commerce, freight, sourcing, and materials management functions.

Duties

Manage warehouse distribution activities, including order picking, shipping & receiving, and packaging operations. Coordinate transportation logistics utilizing transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS). Oversee procurement processes such as sourcing, pricing negotiations, and demand planning to optimize inventory levels.especially experience on choosing shipping companies like canada post, or UPS etc. Utilize ERP systems like AS400 for order processing, inventory control, and data analysis to identify efficiencies. Collaborate with 3PL providers to streamline freight movement and ensure timely delivery. Monitor supply chain performance metrics and implement process improvements for increased efficiency. Maintain accurate records related to shipping & receiving, materials management, and procurement activities. Operate forklift equipment as needed for materials handling within the warehouse environment. Support e-commerce order fulfillment processes and ensure proper packaging standards are met. Utilize CMMS for maintenance scheduling of warehouse equipment and facilities. Analyze data related to demand planning, pricing strategies, and sourcing options to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse distribution, supply chain management, or logistics coordination. Familiarity with warehouse management system (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms. Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), freight logistics, 3PL coordination, and shipping & receiving procedures. Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in process improvement methodologies. Experience with procurement, sourcing, demand planning, and pricing strategies. Ability to operate forklift equipment safely; certification preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and materials management. Familiarity with CMMS for maintenance tracking is a plus. Warehouse experience including order picking and packaging is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration within a fast-paced environment. Pay: $38,681.29-$74,068.28 per year
