Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will handle inquiries related to shipping and receiving, assist with data entry, and utilize transportation management systems to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of freight logistics.

Duties

Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring a high level of service. Utilize phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls and provide accurate information. Assist customers with shipping and receiving processes, including tracking shipments and resolving issues. Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date customer records. Analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their experience. Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns and improve service delivery. Maintain knowledge of transportation management systems and 3PL operations to assist customers effectively.

Requirements

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Experience in shipping and receiving processes is preferred. Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail. Familiarity with freight logistics and transportation management systems is a plus. Ability to analyze customer needs and provide effective solutions. Previous experience in a customer service role is desirable but not mandatory. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
