FB Canada Express is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Logistics Coordinator
to oversee freight coordination and dispatch, ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and communicates effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Freight Coordination & Dispatching
Plan and schedule shipments according to priority to ensure timely deliveries.
Prepare and manage documentation for shipment clearance.
Perform administrative tasks related to manifesting, tracking, and record-keeping.
Customer Communication & Support
Respond promptly and professionally to customer pickup inquiries.
Provide updates and resolve issues via email and phone throughout the shipment process.
Partner & Carrier Collaboration
Coordinate daily with courier and warehouse partners to ensure smooth operations.
Follow up proactively to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and to customer satisfaction.
Collections & Billing Support
Track outstanding invoices and collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payments.
Communicate with customers regarding payment status and resolve billing issues.
Maintain accurate records and support reporting as needed.
Qualifications
Skills & Competencies
Minimum
2 years of experience
in logistics, dispatching, or a related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel with excellent attention to detail.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
Knowledge of customs paperwork is an asset.
Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-volume logistics environment.
Professional Traits
Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Capable of managing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
