The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the scheduling, freight negotiations and custom documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Schedule Inbound/Outbound last advance with carriers within assigned region
- Prepare daily BOLs for local and international LTL and TL deliveries (trucking companies and couriers)
- Update delivery dates on POs as goods move so the Customer Service team always has accurate and on time information to deliver to the customer
- Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure paperwork completion and accuracy
- Coordinate with Broker to ensure goods are classified accurately
- Participate in the negotiation of freight rates, inland, ocean and air
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Expedite the delivery of customer orders to ensure commitments are achieved
- Ensure that delivery paperwork is complete, accurate and entered into the system
- Assist customers and other staff in the resolution of any distribution issues
- Generate reports for freight status in transit, freight costing and logistics performance metrics
- Participate in process improvement or implementation projects

To be successful in the role:

- Great attitude!
- Post-secondary education
- 1-3 years\' experience in Logistics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and other applications
- Positive \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude with a strong team mentality
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work onsite
