What you will do: The position of Logistics Coordinator is truly the ultimate puzzle-solver! Working closely with a team of Sales Executives; Logistics Coordinators manage transportation requests and are an integral part of the shipment process from start to finish. As a Logistics Coordinator your key responsibilities would include; identifying shipment needs, collaborating with carrier partners, negotiating, order entry, and most importantly, problem solving. Logistics Coordinators are tasked with ensuring things go according to plan \xe2\x80\x93 or thinking on their feet when they don\xe2\x80\x99t! Ideal candidates for this position typically identify as conscientious self-starters with strong analytical skills, and a knack for teamwork.

What you will do:

  • Plan and coordinate freight shipments with our carrier partners using phone and email
  • Build strong, genuine relationships with carriers built on a foundation of trust and camaraderie
  • Enter orders into our systems, track and trace shipments, and work collaboratively with the team to ensure customer needs are met
  • Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to deliver exceptional customer service to clients
  • Provide quotes and negotiate terms with customers and carriers

What You Have:
  • OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) or equivalent
  • Post secondary schooling in relevant field or relatable industry experience
  • Familiar with various software\'s including CRMs
  • Comfortable with basic programs such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word
  • The willingness to learn in a 3PL environment
  • An analytical mindset with a firm understanding of current and future market trends
  • A strong understanding of mathematical concepts
  • The ability to connect and build relationships with people
  • Team player
  • A positive go-getter attitude
