About the Role The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting our sales team in logistics coordination, documentation, purchase orders and sales orders entry on the system, as well as problem solve and meet a customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs. Our ideal candidate is passionate about sales and logistics, helping others and enjoys working with an environment with deadlines maintaining a high attention to detail.

What you Will do:

Sales Orders Support

  • Enter and monitor purchase order and sales order requests from Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs) into the system.
  • Record and archive regulatory and other pertinent documentation.
  • Update inventory movements in system.
  • Review and forward documents for CRM approval; provide approved documentation to Finance department.
  • Process purchase and credit claims.

Logistics & Import Coordination

  • Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of product from customers and suppliers.
  • Update delivery schedules and advise CRM as necessary.
  • Oversee operational logistics of ocean import shipments from origin vessel loading through to arrival at destination and proactively provide updates.
  • Co-ordinate pickup and delivery arrangements with local partner trucks.
  • Prepare documentation in compliance with import regulations.
  • Review shipping documentation, such as Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Packing Lists, Canada Customs and Certificate of Origin and distribute to customers complying with regulations and internal procedures.
  • Review invoices for freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokerage.
  • Develop and maintain freight database with up-to-date information on quotes, rates and contracts.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams such as Sales, Logistics, Finance and Administration.
  • Perform other related duties as required to assist in efficient operation of the department.

Inventory Reporting & Updates

  • Provide inventory support for CRMs including:
    • Current inventory reports.
    • Queries on historical inventory movements and details.
  • Utilize third party inventory software to ensure accurate inventory and details.

Customer Support & Inquiries Follow Up

  • Exceed customer expectations for all interactions.
  • Provide support for customer inquiries.
  • Provide required reports and information for internal customers.
  • Provide support to all customer related inquires and troubleshooting and request management.
