Job Description





RIMEX is a global company that manufactures and distributes Rims and Wheels for heavy machinery used on mining trucks and other industrial vehicles. RIMEX has been in business for over 45 years and has grown substantially in the last five years. The Head Office is located in Langley along with Production Facilities in Langley and Agassiz and wholly-owned distribution offices around the world. Responsibilities: Shipping & Logistics (US & Canada)

  • Arrange and track freight for all inbound and outbound US & Canadian shipments
  • Keep up to date on current customs requirements and tariff codes for all products
  • Communicate with customers logistics personnel to coordinate shipments
  • Manage courier packages incoming and outgoing
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders to expedite shipment with all documentation required and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
  • Create/audit all shipment documentation including but not limited to commercial invoices, Packing List, bill of landing, VGM, Packing Declaration, COO, doc trac
  • Oversees the processing of customer orders per shipment, auditing pick list to manifest.
  • Work alongside the shipping and warehouse teams to meet order delivery details
  • Generates and reviews all shipping labels and packaging to ensure that they meet shipping regulations.
  • Ensures that all orders are delivered to customers in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinate Load planning for the loading of North American trucks
  • Moderate physical activity such as lifting to 50 lbs., walking is required daily.
  • Order picking and packaging for LTL shipments or other (skids/ boxes)
  • Exhibits excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.
  • Demonstrates solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ensure all shipments deadlines are met with the sales team
  • Possesses awareness of warehouse and equipment safety procedures.
  • Create and maintain great relationships with clients and carriers
  • Understand Tariff filings of our products
Education:
  • Completion of Grade 12
  • Some post secondary education an asset
Experience, Skills & Abilities
  • 2 years in a Warehouse/Shipping environment
  • Intermediate level skills in Adobe, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
  • Previous experience with ERP software (Syteline) an asset
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Customer Service focused
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to work well under pressure
  • 2 years Forklift Certified Experience
