The Company

•B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.•

Position

Logistics Coordinator, Nunavut - Up to 1 year contract

Location and Reporting Structure

Reporting to the Manager, Exploration this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the safe, efficient and timely transport of Exploration personnel (employees and contractors) from major centers to and from the Goose site;

Arrange air charter services for movement of cargo to site;

Coordinate logistics with vendors to ensure timely shipping and receiving of freight, supplies and materials to and from site;

Facilitate acquiring goods and services through the selected purchasing program;

Organize allocation of personnel in the Exploration camp; and

Participate in daily toolbox meetings to promote compliance to B2Gold Nunavut's safety policies and procedures.

Desired Competencies and Requirements

Minimum two (2) years' experience working in a travel coordination or logistics role in a remote based operation, with preference given to those with experience in remote mining environments (specifically exploration projects);

Experience in purchasing, shipping and receiving and familiarity with Forecast Plus or similar purchasing program;

Post-Secondary Diploma in Travel, Transportation and Supply Chain Management preferred;

Prior experience working in a remote camp setting with limited access to resources considered an asset; and

WHIMS Certification and/or Level 1 First Aid considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

For informational purposes, the estimated starting annual earnings are $115,752.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $42 and overtime rate of $63) in a work year.
