Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the supply chain, ensuring efficient warehouse distribution, and facilitating smooth transportation processes. This role requires strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of logistics operations, including demand planning, order fulfillment, and procurement.

Responsibilities



Manage warehouse distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Oversee purchasing processes, including sourcing materials and negotiating pricing with suppliers. Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency within the logistics framework. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs. Conduct data analysis to monitor logistics performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for freight management and shipping & receiving operations. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices in materials management. Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems, including AS400. Facilitate order picking and packaging processes to meet e-commerce demands effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support demand planning and inventory management.

Requirements



Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field, with a strong background in warehouse experience. Familiarity with supply chain principles, including freight management, order fulfillment, and procurement processes. Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS). Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information for decision-making purposes. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus. Knowledge of e-commerce logistics practices is desirable. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners. Pay: $47,527.07-$79,770.88 per year
