The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the logistics requirements of Canada Goose. This can include any activities related to the movement of products within our supply chain.

What You\'ll Do:

  • Review, approve/cancel, and consolidate shipment bookings from forwarder and/or supplier depending on the mode of shipment, and costs.
  • Track, trace and arrange deliveries of inbound shipments to the correct destination. Work with customs broker and trade compliance team for any inquiries related to inbound shipments.
  • Monitor & track forwarder KPIs against SLA. Seek improvement opportunities for shipments that do not meet SLA.
  • Liaison between Supplier, Forwarder and CG teams. Investigate issues and coordinate with respective cross-function teams.
  • Ensure shipping documents from supplier(s)/forwarder(s) are received on time and accurate.
  • Ensure that suppliers and forwarders are following CG shipping requirements (i.e Supplier Manual and SOPs). Provide support to supplier\'s inquiries related to transportation and packing requirements.
  • Deal with imports and some exports shipped to and from the company; work with Trade Compliance to ensure compliance
  • Work hand in hand with the warehouse team and attend cross-functional meetings
  • Regularly update and provide Inbound RM reports to cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor all URGENT shipments until they arrive at the destination. Update the cross-functional team on the shipment status.
  • Organize courier shipments domestically and internationally
  • Code invoices to support cost tracking
Let\'s Talk About You:
  • 2-4 years of experience in transportation and logistics, dealing with international shipments
  • Supply Chain Certification in transportation an asset
  • Working knowledge of Global import requirements
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Office Excel for data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
