Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator - Import & Destination Operations to join our growing Logistics Team. This role is ideal for a candidate with 1-2 years of experience in international logistics who is eager to build hands-on expertise in global supply chain operations. The position will focus on coordinating incoming freight, securing customs release, working closely with carriers, terminals, and warehouses, and ensuring clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of inbound logistics including freight release, customs clearance, and terminal discharge Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on shipment updates and documentation Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, transportation and warehouse carriers to ensure timely delivery Prepare and send shipment confirmation and release documents to customers Monitor and track container shipments, updating internal systems and communicating status to teams Address destination-related issues such as shipment delays or miscommunications Maintain and update logistics documentation and tracking systems Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams Apply knowledge of international shipping terms, including Incoterms, in daily operations
Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or import coordination Basic knowledge of international trade and Incoterms Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and shipment tracking platforms Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
