About the Role:



LJ Welding Automation is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics team. This role is responsible for independently planning, scheduling, and monitoring domestic and international shipments while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations.

This position is well suited for a mid-level logistics professional who is comfortable managing day-to-day logistics activities independently, collaborating cross-functionally, and escalating complex or high-impact issues when required. The Logistics Coordinator plays an important role in maintaining smooth logistics operations and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities



Plan, coordinate, and track domestic and international shipments in compliance with shipping and customs regulations Work closely with the shipping department to ensure timely outbound orders Communicate shipment status, delivery timelines, and updates to customers Follow up with carriers and freight partners to confirm successful delivery Maintain accurate shipping data and records within company systems Triage shipment and order issues by identifying root causes and driving timely resolution Collaborate independently with cross-functional teams (Sales, Production, Purchasing, Quality) to resolve logistics challenges Support company values, policies, safety standards, and Quality Management System requirements Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes Perform other duties as required

Desired Skills & Qualifications



Diploma, certificate, or degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field Minimum of 1 - 2 years of logistics or transportation coordination experience (required) Experience with domestic shipping and freight coordination (required) Experience with international shipping, customs documentation, and freight forwarders (required) Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers (required) Proficiency with ERP systems (required) Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) (required) Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset

Pay: $24.50-$28.00 per hour
