Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
Mobil Grain is now hiring a Logistics Coordinator to work out of our Delisle location, working with Big Sky Rail (BGS) and Last Mountain Railway (LMR). Mobil Grain is a family-founded company (now owned by BluJay/GCM) that operates 2 Saskatchewan shortline railroads, LMR (85 miles) and BGS (250 miles). We're looking for a detail-focused team player: someone who can leverage their planning and organizational skills to support our railways and maintain the fundamentals of our transportation software and systems. Previous railway experience is not required: training will be provided to the successful candidate.
We offer a health benefits package after 3 months of full-time work, as well as an optional retirement savings plan after 6 months full-time. We pay well for experience, precision, and efficiency.
This position combines a wide variety of tasks, including (but not limited) to:
data collection, organizing, and reporting inbound and outbound car control and data entry monitor and update car movements in our transportation management software customer service coordination and planning involvement in train coordination and planning other miscellaneous tasks as required
The successful candidate will:
be proficient in computer skills, particularly have a reasonable understanding of Microsoft Office be organized and detail oriented strong communication skills have a valid, Class 5 Driver's License self motivated be willing to work on call (evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.)
