Each employee is a part of what makes us unique on the market: agile and dedicated.Time Type: Regular :Position Title:Coordinator, Local LogisticsManager\xe2\x80\x99s Title:Supervisor, LogisticsPOSITION SUMMARYIn accordance with established procedures, standards and guidelines, the incumbent is responsible for the \xe2\x80\x9cin-field\xe2\x80\x9d delivery and handling of Home Terminal Devices, Oracle stock and Accessories to Technicians. The incumbent will help maintain a clean delivery vehicle and warehouse space, and assist with inventory tasks as required. Additionally they will assist techs in the field with Road Crossings and/or other support for safety purposes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers HTD, Oracle and Accessory equipment to technicians in the field where there is no dedicated stick delivery coordinator
  • Receives HTD, collateral, accessories from Distribution Centre
  • Responsible for order management of HTD
  • Receiving HTD equipment returned to Work Centre by Contractors, Technicians and responsible for packaging/arranging for shipment of HTD units to central facility as per established procedures
  • Issues HTD equipment to technicians and/or contractors as per established procedures.
  • Ensures that all HTD equipment at the work center is securely stored as per established procedures.
  • Shipping and receiving for other departments in the same building(s) as required
  • Minor facility maintenance (Salting or shoveling by main entrances if needed)
  • Assists in performing physical counts of HTD units as required and prepares associated summary reports.
  • Maintains HTD and HTD storage area assigned in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Completes receiving and shipping of other goods as per local procedures.
  • Assists maintaining fleet ( arranging service pickups for on site vehicles and preparing end of life vehicles for pick up)
  • Installation / removal of vehicle tracking equipment and leakage equipment
  • Assist with delivery of tech HTD. (this is for areas that do not have a dedicated Stock Delivery Coordinator ie Sarnia)
  • Assists field technicians with road crossings and/or other in-field support as required
  • Assist with PPE inspections and training.
  • As part of their work, employees must take all necessary measures to ensure their own health & safety, and that of their co-workers and the public in general. They must use available personal protective equipment at all times, and comply with all Health & Safety instructions, guidelines, policies and procedures issued by the Company.
  • To support Cogeco\xe2\x80\x99s ultimate goal of providing excellent service to current and potential customers, the incumbent must be constantly attentive and responsive to both external and internal customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and assist in the resolution of any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner while ensuring that the solution meets the customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSACADEMIC TRAININGHigh school diploma required.Post secondary education preferredWORK EXPERIENCE1-3 years experience in a similar role is preferred.SPECIFIC COMPETENCIESBasic knowledge of electronics and inventory procedures.Must have previous experience working PCs and demonstrated navigation abilities within a Windows environment. Working knowledge of MS Office application required (i.e. Word/Excel/Outlook).Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a winning customer service attitudeComplete understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain procedures.Self motivated with the ability to take initiative and resolve problems independently. Monitors own quality of work.Open to change with a learning attitude towards work and to contribute to teams.General understanding of broadband, telecom, cable and internet industries is an asset.Flexibility required with respect to hours of work as business needs changeValid Ontario driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and eligibility to drive Cogeco vehicles is required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND VISUAL ACUITYThe incumbent\xe2\x80\x99s is required to lift, carry and move heavy boxes (min. 40 lbs) and assist in unloading trucks.At Cogeco, diversity is an essential asset to our organization\xe2\x80\x99s performance.
