The Logistics Coordinator will assist the Supply Chain department with overseeing logistics systems, process support and design of the reporting applications based on business requirements. This position will provide operational and administrative support to the Supply Chain department.Your responsibilities will include:
\xc2\xb7 Leading customs data collection and ERP data entry.
\xc2\xb7 Negotiate competitive freight rates and schedules.
\xc2\xb7 Generate monthly rate, volumes, and analysis reports.
\xc2\xb7 Coordinate all quality and improvement-related initiatives.
\xc2\xb7 Audit and report e-training on time completion.
\xc2\xb7 Receive and respond to updates and concerns regarding shipment status.
\xc2\xb7 Assist in shipping incident and damage investigations and determine causes and corrective actions.
\xc2\xb7 Complete customs paperwork for shipments destined outside of Canada.
\xc2\xb7 Work with supply chain leaders to build inbound and outbound logistical model capabilities
\xc2\xb7 Recommend process enhancements to improve service and efficiencies when possible
\xc2\xb7 Other duties as required.Required qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 Actively enrolled in a degree in Engineering or Business or a recent graduate from an Engineering or Business degree
\xc2\xb7 Strong business analytical skills
\xc2\xb7 Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products and accurate typing and data entry skills
\xc2\xb7 Able to communicate and interact effectively with various internal stakeholders
\xc2\xb7 Able to effectively present information and professionally respond to questions from management, employees and customers
