Position Overview

As a

Logistics Coordinator

, you will play a key role in keeping freight moving smoothly across North America. Working closely with our operations and sales teams, you will coordinate shipments, resolve challenges, and ensure everything runs on schedule.

This is a fast-paced role that requires strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Previous

3PL or logistics experience

is an asset; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to build a long-term career in the logistics industry.

Responsibilities

Freight Quoting:

Obtain carrier quotes, evaluate pricing, communicate costs, and assist in negotiating competitive rates.

Order Entry:

Accurately enter orders into the system and coordinate with sales and customer service to ensure order details are correct.

Shipment Tracking:

Monitor shipments using tracking systems and provide timely updates on shipment status and ETA.

Problem Solving:

Identify and resolve shipment issues or administrative challenges while collaborating with the team to improve efficiency and service.

Key Attributes

Education & Experience:

Post-secondary education in a related field or a minimum of 1 year of logistics or transportation experience.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and CRM systems.

Attention to Detail:

Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.

Client Relationship Management:

Ability to build and maintain strong, professional client relationships.
