WE ARE HIRING "Coordinator - Logistics (1-Year Fixed Term / Korean Language Required)"
Position Summary
As the Coordinator of the Logistics Team, your primary responsibilities revolve around ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services worldwide. This entails overseeing documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy, tracking shipment statuses, and resolving any issues that may arise to prevent delays. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers to optimize logistics operations and support market expansion initiatives. Analyzing performance metrics and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency will be key to your role. Overall, your role is integral to ensuring smooth logistics operations that support the organization's growth and market competitiveness. Additionally, due to dynamic nature of our business, your schedule may occasionally include weekends and nighttime work hours.
Responsibilities
Coordinates the transportation of products, providing secure and reliable transportation.
Oversees shipping and delivery schedules for internal fleet and truck transportation of products.
Confirms proper documentation is obtained and maintained.
Updates transportation reports, communicates information to appropriate parties, and responds to inquiries regarding report and tracking information.
Confer with customers to provide information about services.
Support activities to expand market share and increase industry relevance.
Transportation Service Billing for customers and vendors (AR/AP).
Please ensure that you remain open to the possibility of occasional weekend and evening work during weekdays, should business needs require it.
Education / Certification / License
HS Diploma / G.E.D is required.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience
A minimum of 2 or more years of experience in logistics operation is preferred.
Extensive experience in the logistics/automotive industry is highly preferred.
Knowledge
Deep understanding of the logistics industry, including warehousing.
Competencies
Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, customers, vendors, and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Korean (both written and spoken) is required for this role.
Proficiency in Spanish (both written and spoken) is highly preferred for this role.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks proactively.
