Sidca Trading has been in operations since 2008 and is a leading distributor of building materials throughout Canada and Western USA. Sidca operates out of its office located in Coquitlam B.C. and utilizes numerous facilities to remanufacture, treat and dry their products prior to distribution from one of their various reload facilities in Canada and the USA. Sidca's small organizational structure will allow the successful candidate to immerse themselves in all aspect of the business, providing them the opportunity to work with an energetic team of individuals.
:
Participate and complete in-house training program.
Develop and maintain lumber/plywood/building materials industry knowledge.
Coordinate with Traders to understand freight requirements and negotiate freight rates.
Arrange freight and to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.
Working closely with warehouse distribution teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Complete customs and duty paperwork for shipments.
Enter freight orders into the system.
Enter sales orders and work orders into the system.
Communicating/follow up with suppliers, service providers, and customers.
Communicate with clients
Work closely with administration staff and accounting staff to close sales
Answering incoming phone calls.
Comply with company policies.
Help maintain a safe orderly environment.
From time to time assist other departments.
Communicate with Senior Management.
