Duties

Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and networking. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity. Utilize tools such as ServiceNow and Jira for ticket management and tracking progress on support requests. Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, including Windows and Linux operating systems. Monitor and maintain firewall configurations to ensure network security. Collaborate with other IT team members to identify recurring issues and implement solutions to improve overall service quality. Document all support activities clearly and accurately in the ticketing system for future reference.

Qualifications

Proficiency in IT support with hands-on experience in troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems. Familiarity with computer networking concepts and firewall management. Experience using ServiceNow or Remedy for incident management is highly desirable. Strong understanding of office productivity software and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively assist users at all levels of technical expertise. A background in computer science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $39,164.81-$76,896.90 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
