As a Logistics Analyst, you will support Emergency Management and Community Safety (EMCS) to ensure that the work area's complex fleet, facilities, and equipment needs are met. You will be responsible for fleet asset coordination and planning, facility asset coordination and equipment coordination and planning. Primary duties include:
Gather fleet requirements and communicate needs to support vehicle procurement and deployment.
Coordinate monthly fleet inspections and unplanned vehicle maintenance and repairs, equipment installation in vehicles, and administer the fueling program.
Maintain an accurate inventory of fleet vehicles, primary reporting location and financial data on units in service.
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on fleet and facility procedures.
Conduct ongoing assessment and analysis of EMCS facility needs, requirements and forecasts.
Act as the primary point of contact for support coordination and approval of any building maintenance or upgrade, including facilities work orders and space planning requests.
Work with Corporate Stores and Clothing to ensure staff receive their annual clothing allotments, training clothing and equipment; manage, obtain, and distribute regalia items.
Assess, maintain, and manage lists of Personal Protective Equipment, safety supplies and tools.
Analyze and assess existing equipment lifecycle requirements and forecasted equipment needs.
Acts as a subject matter expert on projects with procurement/supply components.
Maintain records of EMCS contracts, purchase orders, including monitoring spend rate and contract expiration dates.
