PA Logistics Group is building a national agent and affiliate sales network of industry professionals who introduce, develop, and expand shipper accounts. We are hiring an Agent Manager to interview, qualify, pitch, onboard, and manage these agents and affiliates while serving as the primary bridge between them and PA's internal teams.
This is a sales-forward, operational, and relationship-driven role. You will be responsible for recruiting and convincing high-quality agents to join PA Logistics Group, then working alongside them throughout the sales process. This includes collaborating on strategy, developing logistics solutions, participating in customer pitches, and helping agents effectively position and sell PA's transportation, warehousing, and logistics services to end customers. You will nurture both the agent relationship and the downstream customer relationships they generate.
Key Responsibilities
Review, interview, and screen applicants to PA Logistics Group's agent and affiliate program
Pitch PA Logistics Group and its agent program to qualified candidates and drive agent onboarding
Clearly communicate program structure, expectations, and service positioning
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned agents and affiliates
Work directly with agents to qualify opportunities and pursue shipper accounts
Collaborate with agents to design and position transportation, warehousing, and logistics solutions
Participate in sales calls, strategy sessions, and customer pitches as needed
Ensure opportunities brought forward are qualified, aligned, and commercially viable
Maintain consistent communication, accountability, and engagement with agents
Track agent activity, pipeline progress, and overall engagement
Resolve issues and maintain productive, professional agent relationships
Qualifications
Experience in logistics, transportation, 3PL, warehousing, or supply chain
Prior experience managing sales
Strong interpersonal judgment and relationship management skills
Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple external relationships
Full understanding of logistics, transportation, warehousing, and freight forwarding services
