We are currently hiring for a Warehouse/Logistics manager in the Brampton area
Full-time Permanent
Keys to Fill:
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 5-8 years of warehousing/logistics experience; 3+ years in leadership
- Experience managing distribution, e-commerce, omni-channel, or 3PL warehouses preferred
- Strong command of WMS, ERP systems and inventory/fleet management software
- Can hit the ground running, with a great attitude
- Hands-on leader who is approachable
Competitive salary: $110,000 - $140,000 CAD/year (depending on experience and scope)

Position Title: Logistics and Warehouse Manager
Location: Brampton, Ontario, Canada Employment
Type: Full-Time 100% on-site
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.), including a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Mission of the Role:
The Logistics & Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the organization's logistics, warehousing, inventory, and fleet operations in alignment with the Corporations goals and objectives. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of goods while supporting the company's high-touch customer service model.
Key Duties & Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute logistics and warehouse strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization, including layout, racking, and storage strategies to improve efficiency and accommodate growth
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP data, and analytics to standardize processes and optimize workflows
  • Establish, monitor, and refine existing KPIs to enhance accuracy, productivity, service quality, and accountability
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen) to reduce cost and improve efficiency
Team Leadership & Employee Management:
  • Lead warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, drivers, and departmental staff in accordance with Canadian labour legislation and company policies
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and training & development
  • Address employee concerns in alignment with HR policies and a respectful workplace culture
  • Ensure fair scheduling, sufficient staffing, team engagement, and develop a culture of accountability
Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment:
  • Oversee receiving, picking, packing, inventory movement, fulfilment, and shipping activities
  • Ensure equipment availability and coordinate safe maintenance and repairs
  • Reduce pick times, streamline processes, and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with operational standards
  • Implement industry best practices to drive efficiency and the highest quality of service
Inventory & Fleet Management:
  • Lead inventory management programs, cycle counts, reconciliations, and root cause analysis
  • Oversee routing, scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating 3rd party resources for timely deliveries while ensuring compliance with Canadian transportation regulations (MTO/DOT)
  • Manage the operation and maintenance of fleet and material handling assets
