Posting closes: August 26, 2022 Compensation: $37,621 - $53,849 (Will consider a Logistics Administrator I or II depending on experience) Additional Information: This is a full time permanent position
Servus is growing! We are looking for a Logistics Administrator to support our Logistics team at our Head Office in Edmonton. Reporting to the Team Lead Logistics, you are primarily accountable for the efficient distribution and movement of products and inter-office mail, as well as all external courier requirements of the organization. As a Logistics Administrator, you will act as our shipper/receiver supporting all branches and department throughout Servus. A professional, cooperative and positive attitude is required with a focus on workflow efficiencies, internal controls, and maintaining good working relationships with all internal contacts and outside vendors. More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive and distribute all internal, courier and Canada Post mail
  • Order, stock and distribute supplies to admin centres; work with Procurement for the purchase of products and services based on existing vendor relationships
  • Maintain corporate vehicles
  • Verify invoices
  • Verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy with weigh bill
  • Remain current in all procedures relevant to logistics
  • Maintain a superior, solution-focused communication style, both written & verbal, with internal department personnel and external vendors
Requirements To qualify, the following experience is considered an asset:
  • Knowledge of Servus and its organizational structures preferred
  • Experience in a logistical environment preferred
  • Knowledge of distribution for a province wide institution
  • Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving
