Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials throughout our supply chain. This position involves coordinating warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and transportation management to ensure efficient operations. The Logistics Associate will utilize various systems and tools to analyze data, improve processes, and enhance overall logistics performance.

Duties



Oversee warehouse distribution activities to ensure timely shipping and receiving of goods. Manage order fulfillment processes, including adhering to the rule book of every major banner ( Walmart , sobeys etc) Transportation management , and warehouse management to track inventory levels and optimize logistics operations. Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for process improvement within the supply chain. Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing materials and managing supplier relationships. Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline, inbounds, outbound and freight operations. Assist in demand planning by analyzing sales forecasts and inventory requirements. Maintain accurate records in ERP systems, including SAP Business one , for inventory management and reporting purposes. Ensure compliance with all customer requirements Support e-commerce initiatives by managing logistics related to online orders. Managing penalties and follow process for any deficiencies Coordinate with Custom brokers and arrange for flawless deliveries

Experience


Candidates should possess a background in logistics or supply chain management, with experience in warehouse operations preferred. Familiarity with purchasing processes, freight management, and materials management is advantageous. Proficiency in data analysis skills is essential for identifying opportunities for process improvement. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) demand planning , freight management, will be beneficial for success in this role. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for managing multiple tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
