Summary

Join D. Giroux Logging LTD as a Loader Operator in our logging operations in Canada. This role is vital in ensuring efficient loading and unloading of timber, contributing to our mission of sustainable forestry and operational excellence.
Responsibilities

Operate heavy machinery including loaders, cranes, and forklifts to load and unload timber safely and efficiently. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. Assist with the organization and management of warehouse logistics related to logging materials. Follow safety protocols strictly to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to coordinate loading activities during logging operations. Support shipping and receiving processes as needed. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, cranes, and forklifts. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to safety procedures and protocols. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Prior experience in logging or forestry operations is an asset. Valid certification for operating heavy machinery is preferred. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks.
