Local Shipping And Receiving Coordinator

Ready to make a difference? In this role, your key responsibility will be to coordinate all aspects of transportation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. You will analyze our current practices to identify improvements and optimize our processes. In addition to managing customs documents and permits, you will provide support to the receiving and inventory teams. Thanks to your rigor and expertise, your direct contribution will ensure customer satisfaction and have a tangible impact on our supply chain!

In this position, you will :

Ensure that all raw material receipts are entered into SAP Ensure that product labeling is in good order Ensure the good condition and quantity of goods delivered upon receipt Plan and prepare customer orders for local shipment Manage the transport of our goods to our local customers and the return of goods from customers Coordinate the handling of goods to ensure the quality of shipments to customers Collaborate with and support team members when there is an overload of work Take an active part in logistics department improvement projects Ensure that non-production packages are received and follow up with the internal requester Ensure compliance with transportation regulations Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations Replace the shipping coordinator during his or her vacation

With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful in this role:

Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) in Transportation Logistics Five years' relevant experience in a similar field Computer skills and knowledge of the SAP system (an asset) Knowledge of the transportation industry Intermediate English, the incumbent must communicate in English on occasion with carriers
