Local IT Systems Analyst

Site IT Systems Analyst is responsible for the overall planning, organizing and execution of all IT projects for a local site. The person will have significant interaction with internal clients, IT associates, and third-party service providers. Position requires a strong bias towards service, quality, and customer satisfaction.

This position is located in Windsor, Ontario, one of two sites located in Canada offering softgel development and manufacturing capabilities for the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health industries. We have a broad range of integrated formulation, manufacturing, analytical and packaging services to offer full-service turnkey solutions.

The Role

Participates in or leads technology initiatives for the site. Analyze current technology landscape, conduct regular reviews of local systems, and generate reports on efficiencies and improvement areas.

Researches, evaluates, and provides technical solutions to address defined business requirements. Identifies alternatives and present recommendations that meet user needs and comply with established standards.

Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and support systems, network, and infrastructure services.

Procurement and IT inventory management in accordance with corporate guidelines

Create and maintain documentation of technology assets at a site by following standard Catalent processes.

Providing technical support for local site systems by troubleshooting problems and recommending solution.

Replaces and rebuilds hardware components as needed; installs/removes/configures basic software applications, backup and restore.

On call 24x7 for emergencies and special projects.

Performs other duties/projects as assigned.

The Candidate

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Computer Engineering

2+ years of experience engineering and supporting the following: Windows servers, Office 365/Azure, knowledge of network principles, protocols, and Technologies

Basic understanding of Applications either Lab/Manufacturing or ERP.

Work experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or laboratory environment is preferred.

Good understanding of technology standards for maintaining a system at a site.

Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-23kg (0-50lbs).

Must be able to work non-standard hours (weekends, evenings, nights) as needed.

Travel 0-10%.
