Overview:

Allied Universal is currently looking for a Lobby Ambassador at one of our sites in Ottawa, ON. The property is close to Parliament Hill and includes a multi-level retail concourse, offices, an outdoor amphitheater, and an underground parking garage.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for acting as a representative of the property to greet people, provide directions, assistance, and exceptional customer service. Expectation to engage the public on a regular basis and maintain a calm, welcoming demeanor in all interactions. Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises. Maintain detailed records of patrols, documenting incidents, irregularities, and any equipment malfunctions. Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff. Maintain a professional attitude towards training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications. Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction. Support property management with any additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

Valid Ontario Security Guard license Standard First Aid CPR Level C Ability to complete Use of Force training curriculum Crisis Management De-Escalation On-site and online training related to similar environments Legally entitled to work in Canada Concierge experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Excellent prioritization skills and multi-tasking ability. High school diploma required.

Physical Requirements:

Work in various conditions, including outdoor environments with extreme weather such as cold, snow, rain, or heat; running will also be required.
