The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will be part of the Global Wholesale Loans and Banking Technology - Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Site Reliability Engineer for is a critical role that will help drive the end-to-end deliverables to ensure a stable, efficient, observable, and resilient technology environment. The successful candidate will deep-dive into current production incidents, understand current design and architectural issues, develop innovative and technical tooling to improving production stability and enabling faster recovery. The candidate will be required to partner closely with the technology leads of each functional streams across WLCR and the wider organization to achieve their goals to improve supportability and reduce toil.
  • The partnership will include interaction with Architects, Engineers, Developers, Production Management and Infrastructure partners (DBA\xe2\x80\x99s, Network, SA\xe2\x80\x99s) to understand the technology stacks, process flows, transaction processing in product processors, data flows, web/app tier performance, database performance, middleware performance and the inputs/outputs to ensure optimal engineering of stacks for application performance.

  • Hands on Python experience.
  • Experience with identifying Toil and automating it.
  • Experience with Autosys job configuration and management
  • Experience with configuring and using Splunk.
  • Release and Change Management: The candidate is expected to co-ordinate with multiple parties like, Finastra product vendor, Implementation Partner, Partner systems, Citi Technology Infrastructure team for the release management function.
  • Optimize and manage process for product upgrades in each environment.
  • Perform (hands-on) the upgrades along with the team.
  • Ensure availability of environments
  • Implementing automated health checks, alerts.
  • Manage the setup of Bit-bucket: software versioning and installation.
  • Environment Management
  • First point of contact for any user issues.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of issues.
  • Support multiple end of days processing in non-production environment during testing.
  • Address any issues related to LoanIQ environment setup
  • Manage the setup of Autosys for end of day processing
  • Activities in alignment to the goals of SRE
  • Motivating and guiding creation of effective CI/CD pipeline.
  • Measure and optimize system performance to push our capabilities forward and innovate to improve continually. Gather and analyze metrics from both applications and infrastructure to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
  • Participate in system design consulting release management and capacity planning.
  • Help automate and streamline operations and processes.
  • Create sustainable systems and services through automation and process improvement.
  • Expand performance and load testing capability to better simulate the real production use.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years experience in a related technology role with commensurate people management experience
  • Experience with financial products, knowledge of lending is a plus. Working knowledge of the industry and industry products and services
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and development skills
  • Strong scripting / programming experience with a focus on production and operational improvement
  • Knowledge for PL/SQL
  • Working knowledge of Java
  • Knowledge of working with Windows servers
  • Hands on experience with CI/CD Tools Setup and Autosys is mandatory
  • Knowledge of support tools such as Splunk / ELK / App-Dynamics configuration
  • AWS or similar cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes/Openshift/Docker
  • Python scripting
Education:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
