Quality Aggregates now requires the services of a Loader/Excavator Operator to work at our facility in Folly Lake, Nova Scotia.

The duties of the position include:

Operating heavy equipment, including front-end loaders and excavators. Loading raw product onto rock trucks. Keeping continuous product feed to the aggregate plant. Maintaining clean and level work areas. Helping with plant maintenance from time to time. Other duties as required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Experience operating loaders and excavators. Prior experience around an aggregate site is preferred. Physically fit. Able to ascend heights, lift objects, and perform physical tasks. Mechanically inclined. Willingness to work in an outdoor environment. Knowledge of and commitment to safe work practices. Demonstrated history of punctuality, strong work performance, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The position offers:

A starting wage of $27.00 per hour with an opportunity to earn increases. A comprehensive group benefits package. RRSP program.
