Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Live In Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily activities, meal preparation, and light cleaning while ensuring the well-being of the children in their care.

Duties

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating dietary restrictions. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime. Assist with homework and educational activities to support children's learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Foster a positive relationship with the children by being attentive, caring, and supportive.

Experience

Previous experience as a babysitter or nanny is preferred, particularly with children of varying ages. Skills in cooking and meal preparation are essential to ensure healthy eating habits. Experience in caregiving for children with disabilities is highly valued. A background in education or child development is a plus but not required. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while ensuring children's safety.
