Overview

We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing, teaching, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children. This role involves engaging children in age-appropriate activities, preparing meals, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Prior experience with children, including infants and toddlers, is highly valued. Responsibilities

Supervise and engage children in educational, recreational, and developmental activities suitable for their age. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, including implementing safety protocols. Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times. Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning up after children and maintaining their play areas. Support children's learning through teaching activities, reading stories, and encouraging creativity. Provide caregiving support for children with special needs or disabilities as required. Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns.

Requirements

Proven experience with childcare, babysitting, nannying, or daycare settings. Knowledge of child development stages for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. First aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring. Ability to cook nutritious meals and perform light cleaning related to childcare duties. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong communication skills and patience when working with children and families. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are preferred for flexibility in childcare arrangements. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism and care.
