Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support our lawyers in all phases of litigation, from case preparation to trial. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a keen eye for detail. The Litigation Paralegal will play a crucial role in ensuring that all legal documents are accurate and submitted in a timely manner while maintaining effective communication with clients and court personnel.

Responsibilities

Assist lawyer with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments. Manage case files using cosmox and ensure all documents are organized and easily accessible. Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases. Maintain effective phone etiquette when communicating with clients, courts, and other parties involved in litigation. Proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with court rules. Coordinate project management tasks related to litigation timelines and deadlines. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed to support the legal team.

Experience

4+ years experience as paralegal Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within a law firm or corporate legal department is preferred. Proficiency in legal drafting and document management systems Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex information effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism. Familiarity with project management principles as they relate to legal processes is advantageous. A background in administrative tasks within a legal setting will be beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
