We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in retail management. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service while driving sales and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and cash handling. Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance. Handle payroll processing and ensure accurate timekeeping for all employees. Manage purchasing decisions to optimize inventory levels while minimizing costs. Implement effective pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff. Maintain effective communication with team members regarding store policies, promotions, and operational changes. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations. Utilize strong organizational skills to manage administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and scheduling.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory role within a retail environment. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for enhanced customer interactions. Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette. Solid understanding of budgeting, merchandising, marketing, and sales management principles. Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in training & development of staff members is preferred. Strong math skills for accurate financial reporting and analysis.
