Job Description

We are currently looking to hire a full-time liquor store sales clerk to join our team. The position will report directly to the store manager. Tasks

• Provide customer service and handle customer queries, complaints, and refund of products
• Operate sale till and authorize and make payments by cheque for vendors
• Keep track of inventory and ensure inventory is stocked up
• Authorize and make payments by cheque and credit/debit card payments
• Assist sales team and ensure a positive and safe working environment is maintained
• Tabulate total payment for goods or services required and receive payment for goods or services
• Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
• Stock shelves and clean counter area, Wrap or place merchandise in bags
• Verify the age of customers when selling alcohol products to person who looks younger than 25 years
• Order and receive liquor and other supplies

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent Team Player and flexible schedule

Work Environment:

• Salary: $15 to $18/hour based on experience
• Working Hours: Full time position; 30 to 50 hours per week
• Working Shifts: 5 to 6 days per week (Morning/Evening shifts)
• Eligible for bonuses based on performance and sales
• Fast paced and tight deadlines from time to time
• May require handling of heavy loads and extending periods of walking and/or standing

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour Benefits:
