Carlson Truck Outfitters is hiring at LINE-X Spray Technician for our new location on Dugald Rd!

Job Summary:

The LINE-X Bedliner Sprayer is responsible for preparing, masking, and spraying protective coatings (LINE-X) on truck beds, automotive parts, and other surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare vehicles and parts for LINE-X spray application, including cleaning, sanding, and masking areas. Mix and apply LINE-X protective coatings using high-pressure spray equipment. Ensure proper coating thickness, texture, and finish per company and manufacturer specifications. Maintain spray equipment, tools, and work area in clean and safe condition. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and correct any imperfections. Follow all safety procedures, including use of PPE (respirators, gloves, coveralls, etc.). Keep detailed records of materials used and jobs completed. Assist with loading/unloading vehicles and general shop duties as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with LINE-X, Rhino Lining, or other spray-on coating systems preferred (training provided for the right candidate). Basic understanding of automotive preparation and painting processes. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced automotive or industrial shop setting. Exposure to chemicals, fumes, and loud noise (proper PPE provided). May require occasional overtime or weekend work based on workload.
