Heart & Crown Irish Pub is looking for talented line cooks and prep cooks to join our culinary team at our Byward Market location. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar high volume establishment. Responsibilities include:
- Setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies
- Preparing food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
- Cooking food items by grilling, frying, saut\xc3\xa9ing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and complying with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
- Cleaning and sanitizing cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
- Standing and walking for long periods of time
- Dental care
- Extended health care
- French not required
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability
- Ottawa, ON K1N 5P5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
