Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The role is for completion of the daily prep list while completing orders at a pizza station and a full line. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and support the kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals. Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and specifications Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Support cooking processes by handling basic cooking tasks under supervision Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station and kitchen areas Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Assist with prep list and prep management Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service

Qualifications

Previous experience in kitchen environments is required Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety practices Excellent teamwork and communication skills Basic understanding of serving, meal preparation, and food handling procedures Passion for the food industry and willingness to learn new skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
