Prep/Line Cook

Eighty-Eight Brewing Company is hiring for a full-time cook in its Portland Street Pizza restaurant in the taproom. If you are passionate about food, building something from scratch and being part of a rad team, then Eighty-Eight is the place for you!

The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a genuine passion for food, drinks, Calgary, and people. We are looking for hard working individuals who enjoy being a part of an awesome team and want to share their love of hospitality with the world. What You Will Do

Responsible for daily kitchen operations for a 100 seat taproom

Contribute creativity and execution of overall food concepts

Drive a passion for food and service quality within the taproom

Love of pizza, amazing snacks and getting those to customers

Receiving, preparing and storing of ingredients and management of inventory and food costs

Uphold clear health and safety protocols in line with AHS requirements

Skills and Experience Needed for this Position

Hospitality, food and craft beer knowledge and passion

Great taste combined with a desire to stay relevant / up to speed

2 years experience working in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required

Strong drive, self-motivation and the ability to remain calm under pressure

Availability will need to include evenings and weekends

Strong curiosity and desire for continuous learning

Full picture attitude; you generate the ideas, work the details and get it across the finish line
