Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced

Line Lead / Lead Hand

to join a growing garment manufacturing company located in North York. This position plays a key leadership role in overseeing daily production line operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, and maintaining high product quality. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a textile or garment production environment and be comfortable taking a hands-on approach when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the production line team to meet daily targets and quality standards Monitor production workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements Assist in hands-on production tasks when needed Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations Train new staff and provide ongoing support and direction to production workers

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar lead or supervisory role in a manufacturing environment Experience in the textile or garment industry is a strong asset Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work flexible hours (morning and afternoon shifts) Must be reliable and able to commute to North York Legally eligible to work in Canada
