, has an opening for a

Night Line Haul Driver

, starting in Lloydminster, AB and transporting freight to our warehouse in Edmonton and then returning to Lloydminster. Experience with highway driving will be an asset.

Summary

As a Line Haul Driver on the night shift, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods over long distance, ensuring timely delivery and pickups. Your core skills in driving, load & unload, and route planning will be essential in efficiently completing your assigned routes. With premium skills in heavy lifting, automotive repair knowledge, and strong communication abilities, you will excel in handling various challenges on the road. Your relevant skills in customer service and possessing a valid driving license will further enhance your performance in this role. The successful applicant will:

Be an experienced and proficient driver able to safely operate delivery vehicles up to 5 Ton in size (24 FT Box). Be in good physical condition and able to lift up to 75 LBS with out assistance and 150 lbs. with assistance . Ability to provide a 3 year drivers abstract with no more than 3 demerit points. Have a previous customer service background and a desire to provide an excellent customer experience. Be punctual and consistently able to be at work on time, with references to confirm reliability. Occasionally may be required to drive either 3ton box truck, or Cargo Vans

Duties:

Transport goods and materials long distances over the road Operate commercial vehicles Load and unload cargo safely Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure safe operation Proficiency in route planning and navigation

Requirements:

Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record Proven experience as a long haul driver or similar role, preferably on night shifts Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, as needed Excellent navigation skills and the ability to plan routes effectively Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, and other drivers on the road Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo Possess or be willing to obtain CSA approved safety footwear.

Friday Only

Hours--5:30 PM - 2:30 AM
