Monitor food preparation to ensure all food and products are consistently prepared according to recipes, cooking and serving standards
decide and delegate appropriate, creative and efficient use of food, including donations so as to minimize wastage.
participate in hiring, orientation, development of food services personnel
adapts work practice within specific parameters to ensure efficient delivery of food services
monitors operation of related equipment, recommends repairs and purchases as required
supervise and instruct all kitchen staff and volunteers assigned to kitchen.
maintain a high level of cleanliness at all times within the kitchen and storage areas. Direct and supervise staff to maintain a high level of cleanliness

Qualifications and Other Requirements
Participate in leading devotions and prayer with patrons and staff.
A passion to serve the homeless and/or addicted population.
Willingness to adhere to the Mission Statement of Potters Hands Ministries-Potters Kitchen.
One to 3 years cooking experience.
fluent in English.
Has the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Is knowledgeable about food preparation and is familiar with kitchen equipment.
