YOUR ROLE

Call it Spring is a global fashion brand of footwear and accessories for a Gen-Z market looking for an experienced creative talent to join its in-house product development team.

The senior line builder will be responsible for the seasonal line plan and working alongside the design team to build a profitable collection aligned with our Go-to-Market strategy. The candidate will also collaborate with the other senior line builder to manage a small team. The senior line builder provides trends and sales insights, as well as study the competitive landscape to build on best sellers, create new sales opportunities and balance the assortment.

Responsibilities:

• Set a product strategy based on trends and sales insights and help bring the director\xe2\x80\x99s vision to life strategically
• Attend sales recaps to better inform collection planning
• Balance the assortment with the design team to achieve needs and novelty
• Color and material specs for each style of respective category
• Collaborate with various business units to ensure financial goals are attainable by controlling product development cost and sampling ratio as well as strategically increasing commonality between all regions
• Establish sourcing strategy between ALDO Direct Sourcing and footwear agents that are not part of direct sourcing portfolio.
• Conduct in depth trend and market research
• Store visits
• Cost negotiation
• Collection presentations

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE\'RE LOOKING FOR?

• 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree
• Footwear experience is recommended
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to communicate clear vision
• Highly flexible and adaptable
• Demonstrated strategic thinking
• Merchant driven
• Capable of thinking creatively and open minded
• Works well in fast-paced environment with strong multitask skill set
• Fashion savvy and enthusiast
