We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring high-quality food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist in food plating and presentation to meet quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures
Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy service periods
Skills
Proven experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation standards in the food industry
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and food industry best practices
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
Familiarity with restaurant experience, including food safety protocols and meal presentation standards
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
