Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food service.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Assist in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Familiarity with meal preparation methods and cooking techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
