Banished started selling beer in June 2022, and we've been growing steadily ever since. Our beer is available right across Newfoundland & Labrador, and has begun making its way with regular distribution to 5 Canadian provinces. We're growing quickly, which means it's a fast-paced environment and we pride ourselves on being able to adapt. We're looking for team members that want to grow with us and bring a fire to want to tackle the challenge head on.

You'll be working directly with our Head Chef, making amazing high quality food.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and committed to delivering high-quality dishes to our customers.

Duties:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing

- Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items

- Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area

- Follow food safety standards and guidelines

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation

- Help with inventory management and stock rotation

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or relevant role in the food industry

- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- Understanding of kitchen operations and techniques

- Certification in food safety is a plus
