Job Summary
[Tabule/Souk Tabule] is looking for skilled Line Cooks and Prep Cook to join our new kitchen team. The ideal candidate is a passionate cook with experience in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that each dish meets our high standards for quality. As a Line Cook or Prep Cook, you will play an integral role in preparing fresh, high-quality meals for our guests while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes during all service times.
Maintain a clean and organized work station, following proper sanitation practices.
Assist with food prep, including chopping, marinating, and prepping ingredients for service.
Monitor food stock and notify kitchen leadership of inventory needs.
Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Assist other kitchen staff when necessary to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role is an asset.
Food Handler certification and First Aid certification are assets.
Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision.
Must be able to carry and lift items weighing [10]-[15] lbs.
