We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure health standards are met Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely manner to meet service expectations Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially within a restaurant or food industry setting Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and proper sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality meal preparation Excellent teamwork skills and positive attitude Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required Food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for entry-level candidates

Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
