Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service, with a passion for delivering excellent dining experiences. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience in the food industry is preferred, along with a strong understanding of meal preparation and food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment Support the serving staff by ensuring timely delivery of prepared dishes Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially within a restaurant or kitchen environment Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong understanding of meal preparation processes and kitchen safety protocols Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward collaboration Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings if required

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
