wok
in the kitchen and a strong understanding of food preparation and safety standards. We are a busy ghost kitchen, located at 1780 W3rd. Added bonus if you have worked with
Asian food,
or in a busy takeaway.
The available shift is Friday & Sunday and hours are 3pm-10pm.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling practices.
Ensure all food safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning equipment and utensils after use.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
We open Friday to Sunday, so must be available but we are flexible. For example if you can only do Sundays, that's okay.
A passion for cooking and the food industry is highly desirable.
